Sew Sew Saturday...

Today Ally and I spent some time sewing
our new dresses.
We were excited to get them finished!

We used a pattern that I had
used before
that we purchased from
Common Sense Patterns:

Here was the fabric that I used:

And here is the final project
(you can click to see photo larger):

We're excited to wear them to church tomorrow.

Be sure to check our Ally's dress.
She did a great job.
And she has other good news to share!!

Before you head over there,
I just want to tell those that have been praying for her,
Thank you SO much! The Lord hears
and answers prayers!

"...pray one for another, that ye may be healed.
The effectual fervent prayer
of a righteous man availeth much."
~ James 5:16

That dress looks really comfortable.

Barbara ~ Hope you're able to find some patterns you like. ;o)

Amy ~ The dress IS very comfortable. I was telling my daughter that I'd like to replace most of wardrobe with these because they are so comfortable. Hope you enjoy checking out their site.

Mom ~ Hi Mommy!! I always love hearing from you! I miss you already! Love you, love you, love you!

Kristy Jo (lemonade) ~ I tried to 'wing it' years ago and couldn't so I took a brief basic sewing class. I was so glad I did. I, too, want to teach all of my girls to sew at a young age. It really is a lot of fun!
