Happy Sukkot!

Chag Sukkot Sameach!
Happy Sukkot Feast!

Our finished sukkah and giant menorah :)

The Feast of Tabernacles {Sukkot} has begun!
We look forward to this week long celebration
as we rejoice in our redemption from Egypt {sin},
how we dwell in temporary dwellings now
but that one day we will dwell eternally with Him...
rejoicing in our Messiah's birth,
how He came and tabernacled {dwelt} among us...
rejoicing that one day He will return
and tabernacle among us once again...
rejoicing in the coming marriage supper of the Lamb...
and so much more He has done
and what is to come!!

There is SO much to learn from His feast days!
May we choose to learn...
choose to seek His ways.

May you be blessed
as you rejoice in His moedim {appointed times}!

Shalom!

Enjoy this wonderful song of rejoicing!

chag haSukkot Hazeh,
Z'man simchatenu.

This is the time of our rejoicing,
Z'man simchatenu
baruch ata Adonai {YHVH} Eloheinu,
melech haOlam, shehecheyanu,
v'kiyemanu, v'hegianu lazman hazeh.

Halleluyah, Sukkot has come, halleluyah!

Feast of Tabernacles

This week we begin observing and celebrating
The Feast of Tabernacles.
This is only our second year of learning about
and keeping the feast days of our Creator
and we continue to learn so much...
and continue to find them such a delight!

I came across this video,
which I thought did a very good job
explaining more about The Feast of Tabernacles.

Please watch. Please share.
Learn about these feast days,
that one day ALL mankind will observe!
They are amazing!

"And it shall be that all who are left from all the gentiles
which came up against Yerushalayim {Jerusalem},
shall go up from year to year to bow themselves
to the Sovereign, יהוה {YHVH} of hosts,
and to observe the Festival of Booths {Tabernacles}."
~ Zechariah 14:16

Blessings and Shalom!

Haven at Home Happenings: Yom Teruah and Yom Kippur

It's hard to believe it's been a month
since my last blog post.
There have been busy, busy days around here.

Things still continue to be busy
as we prepare for Sukkot/The Feast of Tabernacles this week!
We are VERY excited about this joyous time of year!!
And hope to share about it and pics soon.

Until then...
here's a little snippet of what we've been up to...

Celebrating Yom Teruah/The Feast of Trumpets...
with our fellowship group...

LOVE to hear those shofars!
What a joyous day it will be when we hear the final trumpet call
and our Savior, Yeshua, returns!

And we had the privilege to celebrate
with a few online friends that were visiting from out of town!

------------------------------------------------

This past weekend, we observed Yom Kippur.
It was a delight to meet with our fellowship group...

... and, also, a special time of self-examination and repentance
and rejoicing in Yeshua, our atonement.

Here's a video I put together with some Scripture
about Yom Kippur...

I hope to share, again, soon as we enter into Sukkot!

Blessings and Shalom!
