Show and Tell Friday

Today, for Show and Tell Friday,
I wanted to share a 'treasure'
that I received from my grandmother.

I have always loved old books
for as long as I can remember.
So when I was 13 years old
and my gramma loaned me
an old copy of "A Little Princess"
by Frances Hodgson Burnett
that was dated 1927!,
I was thrilled!
I remember reading it many times.

Years later, she told me that she wanted
me to have it for my own!
This book holds fond memories of my gramma
and visiting with her at her home
that sat on Lake Huron.
I look forward to, one day, passing it on
to my children, as well.
Thank you, Gramma!

That is wonderful that you remember your Grandmother letting you borrow it. It is truly a blessing.

What a special treasure! I enlarged the photo and just fell in love with the little girls having a Tea Party! Most little girls don't seem to play like that anymore. Thanks for sharing with us this special memory of your Gramma.
