More Daddy Moments...

We are continuing to enjoy
spending time with Daddy while he is home. ;o)
I will likely not be posting much to read while he his home
but I do hope to continue sharing photos.

In my previous post, I shared the children
playing with our new Elefun game.
They have enjoyed this game quite a lot
and really enjoyed it when Daddy joined in...

Daddy and Will have enjoyed

playing with our new flying disc...

Last night, after supper,

we enjoyed another new-to-us game...

The younger ones (and Dad, lol)
thought the new card holders came in handy...

After our Uno game, Dad and Ally worked together
to put up our new blinds...

What a blessing it has been to watch
as my beloved and our children interact
and strengthen bonds with one another.
And what a blessing it has been
that he and I have been able to do the same. ;o)

"I will bless the LORD at all times:
his praise shall continually be in my mouth."
~ Psalm 34:1

AWWW.

I am loving the pictures and the loveliness of your times together. What a treasure.

And putting up blinds?!?!? What a nightmare. lol. I helped my mom put up those blinds. I am using the word "help" very loosely here. We were both absent when they were handing out the vertical-blind-installing part of the brain. After a long time of trying and making a mess and getting all frustrated, my dad came home from work and did it in probably 1/2 hour. (he is an engineer) lol.

It looks like your dears show up for the brain part. :)

Continue having a wonderful time together. Always in our prayers. ~madeleine

It warms my heart so much to see your happy family reunited. It saddens me how much I must take my hubby for granted in coming home everyday. Your family is such an encouragement. I hope your dear husband gets to stay with his family a long while.

I noticed that you were in the Carolinas. Is y'all stationed at Camp LeJeune? That is where my brother is.

Many blessings.

I love that you all are enjoying the time with such "simple" and "common" things! I'm guessing it's a delight to him after being in Iraq.

I know it will be a delight to your daughter to look at those blinds when he leaves--remembering how she and her daddy hung them...together.

:) Praying God's great blessings on your precious family.

I've never see the UNO Spin game. I'll have to keep my eyes out for that.

I'm glad you're enjoying your time while hubby is home. Soak it up!!

Bren ~ Thank you. Yes, family is a wonderful gift.

Grafted Branch ~ Yes, we are enjoying the 'simple', everyday things with him. And, yes, he has loved being home, too.
Ally was proud of their completed project together and I agree, she will think of him when she looks at them. ;o) Thank you for your prayers.
