He Knows My Fiery Trail...

I sang this song during the morning service.
What a blessing the words were to me!

Tho' He should slay me I'll trust in Him.
His way is never wrong.
In darkness I will praise His name.
He is my strength and song.

(Chorus)
For He knows my fi'ry trial;
He knows the way I take.
His glory shall be seen,
And He makes no mistake.

God sees my ways and counts my steps.
He hears my silent cry.
My heart is fixed; I trust in Him.
I need not ask Him why.

(Chorus)
For He knows my fi'ry trial;
He knows the way I take.
His glory shall be seen,
And He makes no mistake.

My faith and hope are in the Lord,

My refuge and high tow'r.
In quietness and confidence,
Shall be my strength this hour!

(Chorus)
For He knows my fi'ry trial;
He knows the way I take.
His glory shall be seen,
And He makes no mistake.

What a lovely song. I'm praying for you and yours. I'm thrilled for all of you that you were able to spend time with your daddy/husband. Memories. Hold on to them, and look forward to the next time, all the while, resting in God.

That is such a beautiful song, and a wonderful comfort. I missed alot this week with you. I know this week has had to be hard for you and the kids. I'll be praying for y'all. Did he return safely? I loved the camping pictures. Looks like that was a wonderful time. I would love to know where that was, if you don't mind emailing it to my mom, it looks like a great place to visit. Plus the Cow Cafe...how neat is that!

Dawn ~ I think it is a beautiful song, too, and the Lord put it in my life at just the right time, too. It was difficult to sing through it Sunday morning without crying. What a relief and comfort it is to know that He knows, He controls, and He makes no mistake. ;o)

Tracy ~ It is a lovely song, truly. Thank you for your prayers. We are thrilled that we were able to spend some time with him, too. The Lord is so Good!

Christie ~ Yes, it is a beautiful song and, yes, a wonderful comfort. Thank you for your prayers. I've been praying for you, too.
I haven't heard if he has made it back, yet. I know it takes a few days. I look forward to hearing from him.
I'll either contact your mom or you to let you know where the campsite is. We had a lot of fun. ;o)
