Neat! I was looking at your last post, and saw that Alexandria plays the organ! So do I! I play it every mid week service at church.

He's very talented, isn't he? I love the violin. Our Pastor does too. You know we have a lot of "pickin" at our church and Pastor says that the fiddle is what you use on Saturday night and on Sunday you use the violin. LOL

Thanks for sharing your video. It was beautiful.

What a great arrangement! Thanks for posting this beauty.

You had asked about my daughter's instruction on the violin...yes, Suzuki there too--though not the great "deal" that we got for piano. Though, I think with all the intricate technique involved in playing the violin, it's worth the $.

What I did learn though, was that maybe 8-10 years old is the ideal age to start them. Then they are young enough to establish a good habit, but old enough to progress at a rate that you'll get your money's worth.

Hope that helps. :)

Such a pretty sound! I have heard a missionary's wife play them in church before and was so intrigued. I called my son in just now to watch with me as I don't believe he has ever heard or seen the glasses played. What a talent though huh?

I loved getting caught up again with your crew through your lovely blog. I just can't seem to get around to everyone like I used to!

How do you turn the music off on your blog to hear the video?

Amy ~ Yes, Ally does play the organ, too. She has been teaching herself this year and is enjoying it very much. How great that you play for your church. I'm sure it is a real blessing. ;o)

Kristi ~ He certainly has been blessed with some great musical gifts. We, too, love the violin. I had to laugh at what your pastor said. I shared it with our pastor and he had to chuckle, too. ;o)

Grafted Branch ~ You're welcome. I glad you enjoyed it.
Thank you for sharing your information and advice. I really appreciate it. ;o)

Amy ~ You're very welcome. ;o)

Holly ~ Thank you. You made me smile. *Ü*

Pam ~ We had never heard musical glasses before this week either. It has been such a blessing.
I was glad to hear from you. I completely understand about not being able to get around to everyone like you used to. ;o)

Marci ~ I have the music embedded into the background of my blog so, unfortuneately, it can't really be turned off. However, if you double click on the video, it will bring it up in a new screen. I hope that helps. ;o)
