Upcoming Projects...

This evening the children and I
went shopping with a gift card
that my aunt's church gave to us as a love gift
as we were visiting her recently
(what a surprise blessing that was, by the way!).

We were very excited to use that blessing
to 'indulge' in purchasing fabric
for some upcoming projects.
We were able to get a little over 50 yards!!

Below is the fabric we were able to purchase
and look forward to sewing:
(you can click on the photo to enlarge, if you'd like)

This Christmas color plaid will be used

to make us all matching dresses for our family photo.
Will is likely to where a deeper green shirt with red tie.

This navy blue/deep green plaid is for a dress

for myself and either Ally or one of the girls.

This was fabric that
Ally chose for her next dress.
By the way, she finished up her newest dress
yesterday afternoon... our first matching dresses. ;o)

This is a gray jersey-knit type fabric,

and lots of it, to make dresses for us girls
and, perhaps, pants/pjs for Will.

This one is for one of my upcoming dresses. ;o)

We look forward to lots of sewing!

"She seeketh wool, and flax,
and worketh willingly with her hands."
~ Proverbs 31:13

That red photo is JUST gorgeous! Can't wait to see pictures of all your fun projects. You've inspired me to get out the sewing machine; my girls are in sore need of some warm dresses.

That is ALOT of fabric. Your machine will be humming for a while. I ended up ordering matching dresses for Charlotte and I for Thanksgiving.

What a blessing! My girls have skirts made in the blue fabric with white flowers, and I added eyelet lace to the hemline. I love that fabric.

Can't wait to see your finished projects ;)

Have a wonderful evening

How pretty. Can't wait to see the dresses. I found fabric on sale this week end for 89 cents for I loaded up too. Lots of sewing to do.
Thanks for the pattern site.

Wow - you were able to get a LOT of fabric! I love seeing the dresses that you and Ally sew - it's encouragement for me to get out my machine and get working on clothes for myself! Thanks for sharing!

I look at all these wonderful creations of yours and wish I could sew. I've asked my husband to buy me a sewing machine for Christmas. He said he would. I'm going to try to teach myself how to sew. I'd love to make modest frocks for my sweet little girls.

I love those choices of fabric. I really need to get some more fabric to get back to sewing. But since our Walmart did away with the $1 table and then the fabric department altogether...I don't get to buy much fabric anymore. The other fabric stores are not convenient to us.

Oh, how pretty! Can't wait to see pictures of the finished products!

I love the blue and white fabric Ally picked - I used that for the jacket part of my 2 piece graduation dress!

Oh wow, what a blessing! =) Those are such great fabrics. I can't wait to see all the finished projects!
Last week I finished Little Monkey's John Deere curtains for his John Deere/Farm themed room we have done and this week I am finishing Princess JoJo's curtains, but having to wait til shopping day Friday to get more fabric since what I originally bought was for our old house and the windows are different sizes. Next week however I am making Princess JoJo and I matching Thanksgiving outfits. She's getting a jumper dress and I'm getting a skirt. I can't wait it will be my first clothing article!
