Tuesday's Tidbits...

Dental visit, oil change,
trip to our local supercenter,
chiropractor...
That's the bulk of our day yesterday.
Ally worked on her chemistry
as we were out
and Will read a few living history books.
When late afternoon rolled around,
we were glad to be home. ;o)

After supper, we gathered in the living room
to read a few more chapters of our read aloud...

We hope to finish it soon
so we can begin "Autumn with the Moodys".

After putting the younger children to bed,
I was able to work on Beth's new birthday dress
and the one for Carolynne...

Ally was excited to begin sewing her new special project.
She is making a medieval-type dress
for an upcoming trip we're going to take... ;o)

What a blessing it was to sit with her and sew!

... to talk, to laugh... just being together.
It was such a blessing!

I hope to finish the girls' dresses this morning
and share them later.
I hope y'all are enjoying your week. ;o)

Enjoyed the pictures of your evening at home after the running around. We have days like that and come home so tired! What a blessing to be able to share sewing with Ally. You look very busy with your projects. I can't wait to see the pictures of the dresses.

Looks like we won't be going on that trip. I'll email you about that.

Amy ~ Yes, we have Summer with the Moodys and the autumn one, too. We look forward to getting and reading the whole series. They make great read-alouds. ;o)

Karen ~ It's always a joy to return home after a busy day. ;o) Yes, it is a real blessing to share sewing with Ally. And it blesses my heart to know that it is a blessing to her, as well. ;o)

Heather ~ Thank you very much for your kind words. I am very thankful it's a blessing when you visit. Thank you for your thoughts and prayers. They are a blessing to me.

Elizabeth ~ Aw... thank you... A mama always loves to hear that her daughter looks like her. ;o)
I'm glad your husband is home but so sorry to hear y'all aren't feeling well. Praying for y'all.

Kristi ~ LOL! I was wondering if anyone would notice that! Um, yes, she is sticking her tongue out... not being ugly or disrespectful, she was trying to be silly when her sister was taking a photo. She gets it from her parents... My beloved and I are sticking our tongues out in our wedding picture! LOL
I'll post a photo of Ally's dress (and her link when she posts it) as soon as she finishes it.
So sorry we won't be able to meet up this year. One of these days. ;o)

~ Christina
