Wednesday's Ways...

Our week has been flying by,
as I'm sure is true with many of y'all.
This evening we have our midweek service.
Afterwards, our church is having
a Thanksgiving fellowship.
We've spent much of the day preparing
what we are bringing.
Here is our contributing spread...

2 containers of 'doubled eggs'

platter of mini Harvest Muffins with drizzled icing
a large dish of Homemade Ranch Mashed Potatoes
2 homemade pumpkin cheesecakes
a layered cake with chocolate whipped frosting,
with Psalm 118:1a on it (courtesy of Ally and her friend)

Tomorrow the children and I
look forward to spending the day together
quietly at home,
with a less than traditional Thanksgiving meal,
praising the Lord, giving thanks to Him,
and possibly even getting out the tree. ;o)

This evening, however,
we look forward to being in God's house
with our church family.
What a blessing that Thanksgiving is on Thursdays...
How wonderful to spend the evening before
worshipping Him, singing and speaking
praises and thanksgiving to Him in unity!

Hope y'all enjoy your evening, as well.

"Make a joyful noise unto the LORD, all ye lands.
Serve the LORD with gladness:
come before his presence with singing.
Know ye that the LORD he is God:
it is he that hath made us, and not we ourselves;
we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture.
Enter into his gates with thanksgiving,
and into his courts with praise:
be thankful unto him, and bless his name.
For the LORD is good; his mercy is everlasting;
and his truth endureth to all generations."
~ Psalm 100
