Have I Done My Best for Jesus?

I wonder, have I done my best for Jesus,
Who died upon the cruel tree?
To think of His great sacrifice at Calv'ry!
I know my Lord expects the best from me.

(Chorus)
How many are the lost that I have lifted?
How many are the chained I've helped to free?
I wonder, have I done my best for Jesus,
When He has done so much for me?

The hours that I have wasted are so many,
The hours I've spent for Christ so few;
Because of all my lack of love for Jesus,
I wonder if His heart is breaking too.

(Chorus)
How many are the lost that I have lifted?
How many are the chained I've helped to free?
I wonder, have I done my best for Jesus,
When He has done so much for me?

I wonder, have I cared enough for others,
Or have I let them die alone?
I might have helped a wand'rer to the Saviour,
The seed of precious Life I might have sown.

(Chorus)
How many are the lost that I have lifted?
How many are the chained I've helped to free?
I wonder, have I done my best for Jesus,
When He has done so much for me?

No longer will I stay within the valley -
I'll climb to mountain heights above;
The world is dying now for want of someone
To tell them of the Saviour's matchless love.

(Chorus)
How many are the lost that I have lifted?
How many are the chained I've helped to free?
I wonder, have I done my best for Jesus,
When He has done so much for me?

Hey Christina. Thanks so much for all you did on my blog. I happened to notice an upgrade that would make it so much easier. So I did it. I couldn't believe how easily I could put things on my blog.

I didn't know how to save what you had done when I upgraded. I wonder if its lost in cyberspace somewhere.LOL!!

I still don't know how to do nice custom headers or backgrounds. I just took the colors blogger automatically gave me. I only changed them a little. I still have much to learn.

Your blog always looks so great. Maybe I'll get the hang of it one of these days. BTW...how do you get that picture of you and your hubby to show up in the comment box? Just curious.

Again, thanks for everything. You are great.

I gave I gabe my life for thee what hast thou given for me?......

I need to examine this in my heart more.

Thank you, I am a new HSing moma and Military wife myself. I stumbled here while looking for this hymn on Diligence to do during our Virtues study. You have been a blessing to me, God sure pointed me in a good direction.

Thanks for posting the gospel song, "I Wonder, Have I Done My Best for Jesus." There is an interesting story behind the writing of it that you can check out on my daily blog on hymns, Wordwise Hymns for today (May 8). God bless.
