Working Together

As we adjust to this new season of life,
with our eldest being away,
the Father continually opens my eyes
to the many and daily blessings
that He gives in each season of motherhood.

One of those has been the blessing
of seeing our younger children rally together,
to 'step up to the plate' of carrying more responsibility
in the household 'work load'.

They eagerly do what they can
to serve with joy and delight,
which, in turn, brings
joy and delight to this mama's heart.

"Two are better than one;
because they have a good reward for their labour."
Ecclesiastes 4:9

How sweet, it must have been a big change to have your oldesnt gone. love the pictures of your children joyfully helping. I think its super important that are children have chores and always recieve praise from us mothers..they trully do begin to help without even asking!!

Sarah Beth ~ Yes, it was very sweet and, yes, it has been a big change with our eldest gone. But the Father is good, indeed! ;o)

Deby ~ It was good to hear from you. Thank you for thinking of me. That is a blessing.
