7 Day Modesty Challenge: Day 6

Would you guess?
It's another cool, sunny day today
in southern California...
and it's beautiful! ;o)

Another day for longer sleeves,
which I love to wear anyway.
There is just something
so cozy about wearing longer sleeves.

Fridays are busy days for me,
as I make preparations
to enter His day of rest.

A lot of the preparation
is in the kitchen,
so Friday's tend to be
the most 'casual' days for me,
regarding dress.

Jean jumper
with button front
(made by me)
,
3/4 sleeve peasant type blouse,
blue covering

"Strength and honour are her clothing;
and she shall rejoice in time to come."

Proverbs 31:25

7 Day Challenge: Day 5
7 Day Challenge: Day 4
7 Day Challenge: Day 3
7 Day Challenge: Day 2
(Day 1... missed it...
but better late than never)

How about you?!

Wearing dresses?
Ever wanted to?

Why not participate in the challenge?

Hi Christina! More causal or not, your outfit is still beautiful. I love the blouse. You didn't mention that you made it yourself, so I'm assuming you didn't......but if you did, would you mind sharing the pattern number? I'd love a blouse like that.

Thank you so much for sharing your week in dresses! I love how your coverings compliment and match your outfits. So very lovely. Would you mind sharing some of the patterns that you use? You have inspired me to finish working on a jumper I had taken apart so that I could reuse it as a pattern for a new jumper.

Hi Christina,
I have enjoyed your week of dresses. I too love to wear dresses. Mostly jumpers. How is Ally doing? I unpacked the last of the boxes this week and I thought about you.:) I hope to hear from you soon.
Blessings,
Elizabeth

Melody ~ Thank you. No I did not make the blouse. I, actually, do not recall where I got it. But I have seen patterns for peasant type blouses. Always check the costume section of patterns. ;o)

Sandi ~ Thank you. I have shared a post in the past, mentioning the patterns I use. The post can be found here:

Happy sewing! ;o)

Elizabeth ~ Wow... you're all unpacked? How diligent you are! ;o) Ally is doing very well. She is loving all that she is learning, doing, and making new friends. I hope you are well, friend.

Lindsey ~ Thank you. I enjoyed sharing. ;o)

Tammy ~ Wow, thanks. ;o) This was an experimental jumper with some fabric I was given. I ended up loving the buttons in the front! And I love that it really is an everyday jumper. ;o)
