Last Friday evening,
Beth attended and performed in her first recital.
While seated and waiting for the recital to begin,
I whispered to Beth, suggesting I pray with her
before she went to play. She kindly shook her head and said,
"No thank you, Mom. I prayed on the way here
and asked Him to help me."
It was a precious reply for me to hear.
After three months of lessons
(and, unfortunately, not a lot of practice),
we thought she did very well!
We thanked and praised God afterwards
for answering her prayer (and ours). ;o)

She did a great job! :D
She is so adorable! My 12 year old is learning to play the trumpet and I am really beginning to see the rewards of all her years of practice! (3 years this year, I think...)
I'm going to ask her to play at church because I want her to learn that she needs to share what God has given her and praise Him through music!

Wonderful job Beth! Brings back fond memories of my own girls playing those songs for recital.
