Simple Woman's Daybook...

For today... September 7, 2009

Outside my window...

the sun is hidden by a sky of clouds

and rain is pouring down

I am thinking...
about what I need to do this morning

I am thankful for...
my husband

From the learning rooms...

light learning the beginning of the week

as Daddy has two days off work;
continuing with our regular learning
and adding in the new school year's resources

From the kitchen...
the coffee pot is percolating
as I anticipate enjoying a cup

On the Menu...
M ~ Grill Out (Burgers, dogs, etc...)
T ~ Rotini Bake
W ~ Chicken and stuffing
Th ~ Tuna Casserole
F ~ Sourdough Pizza

I am wearing...
sleepytime attire ;o)

I am creating...
nothing, yet, but hope to work
on the lil' girls dresses soon

I am reading...
my KJ Bible through in a year,

currently in 2 King, Psalms, Romans;
A Wife After God's Own Heart by Elizabeth George;
Reforming Marriage by Douglas Phillips;

When Women Walk Alone by Cindi McMenamin;
For Women Only by Shaunti Feldhahn;
Won By One: A Workbook on Personal Soul Winning
by Clarence Sexton
Total Money Makeover by Dave Ramsey;
(with a friend aloud) Home Education by Charlotte M Mason;

I am hoping (praying)...

for the Lord to bring revival to my heart,

to my husband's, children's, and other family,
and to the churches and our nation;
to have victory in implementing our new schedule;
to have victory in implementing our new budget;
that I will be humble and right before Him

I am hearing...

the children at the dining room table
crunching cereal and playing board games

One of my favorite things...
spending time with my family

A few plans for the rest of the week...

enjoy Labor Day with my family
and a couple of friends; continue learning at home;
attend our midweek prayer service;
go to our 6 year old's violin lessons;
enjoy the blessings of life

Here is picture thought I am sharing...

"How great are his signs! and how mighty are his wonders!
his kingdom is an everlasting kingdom,
and his dominion is from generation to generation."
~ Daniel 4:3

What a beautiful Truth!
