Tuesday's Tidbits...

It was a beautiful (and wet) day today. ;o)
This morning we continued our Bible study in Genesis 4.
Today we went through the chapter
and pulled out some main events for our outline
(which the younger ones illustrate).
Here were there illustrations...
(you can click on it to view larger)

After our Bible time, Ally did music lessons

with Will and Beth...

Then we worked on blessing our home.
Ally took charge in the kitchen, which she enjoys
(and this mama is thankful for that!). ;o)
Will was assigned the dining room;
Beth the reading room; and Carolynne the living room.

Here were Beth and Carolynne
vacuuming their assigned room...

What a blessing it is when they enjoy vacuuming! ;o)
Afterwards, they sat down and enjoyed a snack.

Later in the day, we went to Ally's piano lessons,

that she teaches, and, then, had a quick visit with friends,
since we were out that way. ;o)
Then we headed home to make supper
and enjoy the evening with Daddy.
After supper, the children were sharing with Daddy
what they learned during Bible time today.
It was such a blessing to listen to them
as they recalled what they had learned.

My scary dentist appointment was cancelled today,
to which I was NOT heartbroken. ;o)

I did reschedule, though, for the end of the month.
(Thank you to those that prayed! That was a blessing!)

Now I'm off to make a menu and grocery list
and spend the rest of the evening with my beloved.
I hope you enjoy your evening, too. ;o)

"O bless our God, ye people,
and make the voice of his praise to be heard:"
~ Psalm 66:8

It's a little cloudy here today too. We have had such beautiful weather lately so I guess I can deal with a gloomy day once in a while.

The kids look like they are very talented, can they play all those instruments?

The illustrations are great! Your not to bad at your graphics either, nice way to lay them out.

Happy Hump Day!

Hey, I have been really enjoying your posts. Especially the Bible drawings! :-D They do a very good job. I understand about the dentist appointment. It is a relief to get it postponed, but then it is not over yet. :-( You'll do fine. :-)

Happy Spring! :-D

I enjoyed the Bible drawings as well as the other pictures on your post. It is a blessing to see your children being so helpful in the house. I do not like to go to the dentist either, so I know how you feel. Have Blessed day. Lisa

I love to see the children with their instruments. One question...what's the tackle box for? At least that's what it looks like to me. Maybe that's where extra strings, rosin, string adjusters, etc. are stored? Or maybe they're just going fishing after music lessons. lol

Looks like fun--the best kind of learning! Isn't it great when your children actually delight in blessing the home? :)

How fun! Glad you got a lot of projects done. My kids are all asking to vacuum our home now that I got a new vacuum, but it's still new to me so I don't wanna share ;) Wonder where they get it from (hehe)

Have a great evening

P.S. I will try to email you back this evening. I had a busy day and am heading to church soon.

Keep those SOW posts coming...I enjoy them so much. About how long does it take you to do Bible? Or the whole school day? I just got word that my SOW is now on it's way - can't wait! Sounds like you had a perfect day! We did a little house blessing this morning before my mom came to visit and boy does it feel good to be caught up on housework - if only for a little while.:)
Have a good evening my friend!
Blessings & (((Hugs)))!!!
