Blue Scrap Dresses...

I, recently, spent time searching through
my stash of fabrics that I have tucked away.
Most are scraps that are not enough of one fabric
to make a dress out of so I am saving for a project.

I was able to find enough of two different fabrics
and put them together for the lil' girls' new dresses...

I tried something a little different on these
by substituting the zipper for buttons
and by adding elastic in the sleeves.
I liked both changes and so did the girls...

"She seeketh wool, and flax,
and worketh willingly with her hands."
~ Proverbs 31:13

"She layeth her hands to the spindle,
and her hands hold the distaff."
~ Proverbs 31:19

They are adorable. I love how they turned out. Of course the little wearer of the dresses add to the total beauty and cuteness!!!

Oh Christina! How beautiful. I have such a desire to make dresses for my daughter, but I am not at all talented with the machine. I make quilts, but clothing is much more difficult! You have a wonderful gift!

What lovely dresses! The fabrics go perfectly well together.

I loved the recipes too. Will definitely try them both. Good idea to peel the zucchini. My son won't eat soups if they are any shade of green ;)
