We Have That Hope...

Almost 10 years ago, my daddy wedded his wife.
Very early this morning, she passed away
after a very long battle with lung cancer.
She professed to be saved
and we are thankful for
the blessed hope and assurance
that we will see her in Heaven.

"But I would not have you
to be ignorant, brethren,
concerning them which are asleep,
that ye sorrow not,
even as others which have no hope.
For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again,
even so them also which sleep in Jesus
will God bring with him."
~ 1 Thessalonians 4:13-14

I am sorry to hear that your Daddy's wife passed. Praying for your family. I am glad (even though it was for a sad reason) you were able to visit with your Dad a little while ago. I am sure the memories of your visit will help him in his time of missing his wife.

Many prayers for your family
