Sunshine in Rain...

It has been a blustery day with cloudy skies.
It seems strange having a taste of spring in January.
My windows were wide open with a few pieces of laundry
hanging in them to dry. I love that smell!
The children were outside enjoying the blustery day
as Ally and I sat at the dining room table
enjoying the gusts that blew threw the windows...
she doing her school work, me working on my sewing project.
Did I mention that I just love the smell and the feel
of the wind blowing through the open windows?!


The rain began, the children came inside to color and read.
Ally finishes her work upstairs while I continue sewing,
listening to the rain fall as classical music fills the air.
How relaxing!

Though the sun is not shining, there is a little bit of brightness
at my dining room table that my beloved blessed me with...
just because...


And though the sun is not shining,
there is sunshine in my soul
because the Son is my Light.
