I hope your week has gone well.
Ours didn't go quite as I had hoped but it did go well. Ü
Monday was our only day that held
the consistency I was aiming for.
I was even able to make breakfast with the lil' girls
before we began our Bible and academics.
They love to be in the kichen!
After breakfast, we were able to continue
into blessing our home and learning together.
It is always such a wonderful feeling
to accomplish so much in one day!
The rest of the week
we did more natural and unstructured learning.
Ally continued with her academics on her own
and so did Will (with what he was able to do).
The lil' girls did some, too, but, mostly,
had creative play (in and out-of-doors), colored, read, etc...
The quick fall back to our unstructured ways
was, partly, to work on the dress for Carolynne's birthday,
which I was able to finish up on Wednesday. ;o)
I am still working on Beth's and hope to finish tomorrow
(they both get a dress on each other's birthday).
As I worked on Carolynne's dress, I had the blessing
of enjoying Ally's company at the dining room table.
She worked on her Advanced Biology as I sewed.
And the younger ones were able to get out-of-doors,
enjoying themselves and the weather... {when it wasn't raining}
It was a real blessing to be in God's house on Wednesday.
Our theme at church this year is "Love is of God".
The messages have already been a blessing.
Wednesday, Pastor's message was about ministry
and how all of us have one.
It was an encouragement, an admonition, and challenge.
On Thursday, we celebrated Carolynne's 5th birthday.
It's hard to believe she is already 5!
There are blessings in this season of life,
though seeing my children grow is bittersweet.
We look forward to a quiet evening at home tonight,
as a family, enjoying homemade sourdough pizza. Mmm!
Whether our weeks go how we hope, plan, or not,
may we be sure to enjoy the moments we have. ;o)
Have a lovely weekend!
"For my thoughts are not your thoughts,
neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD."

"I will bless the LORD at all times:
his praise shall continually be in my mouth. "
~ Psalm 34:1

Praying you have a blessed weekend! Loved so the pictures!
Well very happy birthday to Carolynne!!
Have a great weekend!!
That cake sure looks yummy! I bet she loved it :)
I liked Biology when I was in school but the teacher always gave me C's or D's even when I tried my hardest. He was strict with everyone and pretty much gave the whole class the same grade! :-/
I hope you have had a blessed weekend!
May God have His hand on you all in this coming week.
