The big city... a great mission field

"Then saith he unto his disciples,
The harvest truly is plenteous,
but the labourers are few;
Pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest,
that he will send forth labourers into his harvest."
~ Matthew 9:37-38

The Pacific Ocean

"The sea is his, and he made it:
and his hands formed the dry land."
~ Psalm 95:5

Golden hills in The Golden State

"In his hand are the deep places of the earth:
the strength of the hills is his also."
~ Psalm 95:4

"... behold, I say unto you,
Lift up your eyes, and look on the fields;
for they are white already to harvest."
~ John 4:35

"For the invisible things of him
from the creation of the world are clearly seen,
being understood by the things that are made,
even his eternal power and Godhead;
so that they are without excuse:"
~ Romans 1:20

"That they should seek the Lord,
if haply they might feel after him, and find him,
though he be not far from every one of us:
For in him we live, and move, and have our being..."
~ Acts 17:27-28

It's nice to have you in sunny California, it is indeed a mission field. There are so many different cultures in our state, so many lost souls seeking for the truth.

My sons attend West Coast Baptist College in Lancaster, I believe it's a couple of hours from LA.

PTL that you are settling into your new home and your new church, God is so good to us!!!

I've always told my friends that a days drive in Cali allows you to see mountains, ocean, forest, desert, it's an amazing place for sure! We lived in northern CA when my daddy got saved. The his call into the ministry led us to Bob Jones. We've only been back to Cali once to visit, and that was way back when I was 15 yrs. old. I'd love to take a trip out there!

Wow, what an incredible journey you guys have had and what a beautiful destination.
The house looks huge! I bet you can't wait to get all your things moved in and situated. The house is larger than your other one isn't it? I like the open plan.
I'm so glad you had this adventure together, God sure is good.

You are such a blessing to me! I enjoyed this entry and love how everything always points back to the Lord (as it should). Thank you for sharing your life and your heart with us and for being such a good testimony of Jesus.
