Simple Woman's Daybook...

For today... March 16, 2009

Outside my window...
I can hear the rain falling

I am thinking...
about how I love God's Word

I am thankful for...
a Bible believing, teaching, and practicing
New Testament church

From the learning rooms...
continuing our study of India,
continuing our study of Ancient Egypt,
and all other miscellaneous seatwork

From the kitchen...
tidying up is needed from the weekend.
On the menu...
M ~ Baked Taco Rice Wraps
T ~ Chicken Alfredo
W ~ Sliced potato, ground turkey, rice & veggie bake
Th ~ Chicken and green bean packets
F ~ Sourdough Pizza

I am wearing...
tan regency gown

I am creating...
white regency dress
and, hopefully, a little gift for my niece's bday

I am reading...
Numbers, Psalms, and Luke {KJB};
Passionate Housewives Desperate for God

I am hoping (praying)...
for family and friends with spiritual needs;
revival in my heart, in my family,
in our church, and in our country

I am hearing...
the younger children coloring in the reading room

Around the house...
all is well, though a little tidying is needed

One of my favorite things...
singing praises to my Wonderful Lord

A few plans for the rest of the week...
doctor appointment on Wednesday,
midweek service at church, homeschool park day,
and spend time focusing on learning with the children

Here is picture thought I am sharing...

"For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life,
nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers,
nor things present, nor things to come,
Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature,
shall be able to separate us from the love of God,
which is in Christ Jesus our Lord." ~ Romans 8:38-39

What an amazingly blessed promise!

Christina, I'd love to know your thoughts on the Passionate Housewives book when you finish it. I read a blog post once that condemned it as worldly simply because of its title (which is similar to an ungodly TV show); she wouldn't even pick it up because of the title. I trust your judgement, so I'm anxious to hear what you think of it!

Seeing how you have a meal planned every week, I started doing that!

I have heard it suggested for years. Just never did it. I don;t know why, just didn't.

Well, you did it! You encouraged me to do it, and now I am on my 3rd week, AND I LOVE IT!!!

Its brilliant!

Thank you
