This week has gone by fairly quickly.
It was bitter cold the first of the week
and it was a real blessing to have nicer weather
toward the end of the week.
Monday was an enjoyable day at home,
focusing on learning, blessing (cleaning) our home,
and just spending time with one another...
{working on our Proverbs illustration}
{working on his writing}
{enjoying her learning}
Tuesday, in addition to our learning and such,
Mama made her bimonthly trip to the commisary
and we enjoyed fellowshipping with some friends afterwards.
On Wednesday, we went to a local health food store,
with our friends, to pick up a few items.
Then we enjoyed our learning times at home
(including the finishing of our history read aloud!)
and attended our midweek service in the evening.
Pastor's message was about worry.
It was a great reminder and a blessing.
Thursday was spent at home,
enjoying our day of learning and living.
I tried a new bread recipe, using my new Bosch,
and while we feasted on our Daily Bread
we enjoyed some tasty homemade bread, too...
{honey whole wheat, whole wheat herb,
cinnamon raisin, and cinnamon pecan x2. mmmm!}
Friday we enjoyed the morning out-of-doors
during our homeschool group's park day.
It was such a blessing to be out in the fresh air!
In the afternoon, we enjoyed
our weekly fellowshipping with friends
and sourdough pizza in the evening.
Today Daddy and Will are enjoying a father-son golf outing
while Mama and the girls enjoy the morning at home.
We are looking forward to being in God's house tomorrow
and are excited about our KJB Conference this week!
I hope you all have enjoyed your week, too,
and have a blessed, Christ-centered Lord's Day.
"In God we boast all the day long,
and praise thy name for ever. Selah."
~ Psalm 44:8

What a blessing your week has been! Mine has been blessed as well and like you, I can't wait to be in church tomorrow! I look forward to it each week!
That bread looks yummy! :)
I used to get 'Our Daily Bread' all the time while in Germany...I wonder why they stopped delivering it to me...maybe they did send me a notice and I forgot????
I use the devotional called 'Beside the Still Waters' from Still Waters Ministries. Ever heard of them? They are excellent!!
They are of the Anabaptist faith but regardless, their devotionals each day are great...and free. :)
