I hope y'all have enjoyed your week!
We've been chuggin' along, keeping busy
as Daddy's been away this week.
We look forward to his return today!
We plan to spend the next couple of days
cleaning, packing, and preparing
for our upcoming trip northward.
We look forward to visiting with family & friends,
participating in our family Christmas party,
and even attending my parent's wedding!
My mom and dad will be reuniting in marriage
a few days after we arrive
and we are looking forward to the happy reunion.
It's been many years since we've spent
the holidays together as a complete family
so this will be a real delight!
We are, also, hopeful that the Lord
will provide us with snow to enjoy!
And it is always a blessing (though a challenge, too)
to be a living testimony for Christ
when we visit our loved ones.
We are excited as we anticipate our visit!
This week we spent most of our time
working on projects, running errands,
visiting with a few friends, and such.
Here a few photos of the children this week...
Beth and Carolynne reading books on the sofa
as Suzie takes a snooze...
Will getting an encyclopedia education...
You can see him snuggled up with one of these often!
Ally crocheting gifts for her sisters...
... and wearing one. ;o)
Here is a photo of the tree skirt that she finished for me,
underneath our tree...
Have a wonderful weekend!
Daddy just walked in
and we look forward to hearing about his trip!

Hi there,
sorry i haven't been to visit much lf late, but time just seems to be getting away on me.
Just wanted to stop by and say hi.
I am going to be scarce for a bit with Christmas etc. Having my married son, his wife and our baby grandaughter coming to stay. Can't wait.
I am thoroughly enjoying the tea you sent me and the diary has been used quite a bit already!
Much love and blessings to you and yours for a wonderful Christmas and a happy new year.

Have a Blessed week! ps - I like your magazine rack! :) I really into magazine racks right now since my dh has one large basket full and overflowing. lol

I love the tree skirt! Good job, Ally! So happy your husband arrived home safely. Have a wonderful time with your family and a Merry Christmas! :)
What a blessing that your parents are remarrying!
I had to laugh at the pic of Will. I love to read the encyclopedia, and I've never known anyone else who does. Tell Will he has a kindred spirit in me! ;)
I know it must be such a joy to know your parents are getting back together. I hope your holidays are safe and very Merry. The tree skirt is beautiful.
Best wishes
Lisa
