Favorite Animal Dresses...

Below are the dresses I made last week for Beth's birthday.
They picked the fabric.

I used bias tape for the sleeve and waist/tie
and added a ruffle to the hems.
Beth picked horses and Carolynne picked dogs.

I suspect that they'll remember these 'fun' dresses
as their childhood favorites.

BTW: I switched blogs. I am not going to do a blog on my family life anymore. Just my personal thoughts. Joni

Very cute! Madison would LOVE the horse one...we have similar material she wants to make a skirt from.

I just happened to stop by and see if there was an update~my bloglines isn't working at all :( It isn't updating any of my feeds from my site, and now it takes forever for feeds from other sites to show....I have emailed them twice, but I haven't heard anything :(.

Anyways :D Hope you have a great evening

Oh how cute! And each of the dresses goes so well with their hair color too. I suppose they will want to wear those dresses every day now. :)

I love the style of those dresses. Where did you get the pattern from?

Thank you, ladies!

Nikki ~ I'm not sure which pattern it is, exactly, because I trace my patterns and am not sure what the original was but I am pretty sure this one came from W*l-m*rt. I believe it was a prairie-style dress and I lengthened them. I hope that helps. ;o)
