Haven at Home Happenings: Yom Teruah and Yom Kippur

It's hard to believe it's been a month
since my last blog post.
There have been busy, busy days around here.

Things still continue to be busy
as we prepare for Sukkot/The Feast of Tabernacles this week!
We are VERY excited about this joyous time of year!!
And hope to share about it and pics soon.

Until then...
here's a little snippet of what we've been up to...

Celebrating Yom Teruah/The Feast of Trumpets...
with our fellowship group...

LOVE to hear those shofars!
What a joyous day it will be when we hear the final trumpet call
and our Savior, Yeshua, returns!

And we had the privilege to celebrate
with a few online friends that were visiting from out of town!

------------------------------------------------

This past weekend, we observed Yom Kippur.
It was a delight to meet with our fellowship group...

... and, also, a special time of self-examination and repentance
and rejoicing in Yeshua, our atonement.

Here's a video I put together with some Scripture
about Yom Kippur...

I hope to share, again, soon as we enter into Sukkot!

Blessings and Shalom!

I am so happy for you all that you found this fellowship group, what a blessing. Wonderful photos!

We continue to try to do what we can each holy day - it's getting easier and more & more natural in celebrating these days with every passing year. Unfortuntly, it seems like every Sukkot, most of us are fighting colds, so I'm trying to think of good ways to celebrate this year and yet keep warm & healthy. It's a bit cooler here in MN ya know. :)

Can't wait to see your finished sukkat this year!

Shalom & Blessings to you and yours!
