Haven at Home on Wheels... Days 31-33

On Wednesday, the 2nd, we celebrated my -- birthday.
We enjoyed going about the city,
finding my beloved's new work place,
and spending the day together.

We, also, had a wonderful supper
at a place called Souplantation! Oh, Yum!
Afterwards, we did a little shopping
then headed towards prayer meeting.
After an hour of trying to find pastor's house,
we were too late, as they were at the end of praying.
We were sad to have missed it
but were glad that now we know how to get there! ;o)

On Thursday, we leisurely hung out at the camper.
One of the men from church brought by some muffins
as a welcome pack, which was a blessing.
Ally and I picked up a few groceries
and we all enjoyed grilling out and eating outside
at the picnic table together.
After returning indoors, we could hear, what sounded like,
a pack of coyotes. They sounded like crying toddlers.
We were fascinated to listen... but did it from indoors. ;o)

Today we were thrilled to sign lease papers
on the house we looked at earlier this week!
What a blessing it was to see how the LORD
answered so many prayers and how
HE did it so quickly!
LORD willing, we will move into our new home
in about a week. We are very excited!

Praise and thanksgiving to JEHOVAH-Jireh,
The LORD will provide!

"I will praise thee, O LORD, with my whole heart;
I will shew forth all thy marvelous works.
I will be glad and rejoice in thee:
I will sing praise to thy name, O thou most High."
~ Psalm 9:1-2

Glad to see you all are settling down and getting acquainted with the area. Miss you all!

Souplantation sounds yummy, we don't have any in MN. Sorry to hear that you were late to prayer meeting, but it sounds like it worked out well afterall and that you came across some nice people.

Yeah that you are signing a lease - the Lord does provide all our needs and so much more! Praising God with you!

((Christina)) ~ How exciting that you all found a house so quickly ... And even more wonderful to have found a church family! God's tender care of His children is a joy to behold!

The area your new city is located in looks beautiful. Isn't is just amazing when you traverse the country to see all the variety of God's creation?

Happy (belated) birthday to you!

Oh Souplantation is one of my favorite places! My husband and I had many a date there and met with a couple of good friends to help plan our wedding. I miss going to the one we use to go to just because of all the fond memories I had there.
