All Youth Service... in Pictures...

In the past, our church has held an All Youth Service,
where the young people of the church lead the service,
on the last Sunday of the year.
The one in December was such a blessing
that Pastor decided to begin doing it throughout the year!
Yesterday evening was an All Youth Service.
And, once again, it was a tremendous blessing!

Here are a few photos from the day...

Will sharing his sermon with our assistant pastor

Children's choir
They quoted two Scriptures and sang two songs
to along with those Scriptures.
"Thy Word Have I Hid in Mine Heart" {Psalm 119:111}
and "Wisdom" {based on Proverbs 4:7}

It was a blessing to have two of our children, Ally and Will,
give their salvation testimonies.

Our assistant pastor introducing Will before giving his

Beth and Carolynne {on the right} sang in a 'friend trio'.
They sang "Hold the Fort!"

Ally and her friend sang two duets...
"I've Decided" and "He's Still on the Throne"

The trio that Will sang with did the song "We Shall Rise!"

Ally and Will participated in a quartet
(with Ally's friend and the young Marine
that we've enjoyed getting to know lately)...

With the guitar they sang "I Love to Tell the Story"

And at the piano they sang "Great is Thy Faithfulness"

Will participated in the offeratory...

We, also, enjoyed a puppet show,
a sermon by another young Marine,
a sermon from our assistant pastor,
and a sermon by our son. ;o)

Oh, I can't forget to give credit to the sound guy!
This handsome man helped the evening to run along smoothly! ;o)

That's my sweetie sitting in his "kube"ical. ;o)

It was such a blessing to see
all of these young people serve the LORD!
I hope to share video over the next day or two.

"Let no man despise thy youth;
but be thou an example of the believers,
in word, in conversation, in charity,
in spirit, in faith, in purity."
~ 1 Timothy 4:12

"I have no greater joy
than to hear that my children walk in truth."
~ 3 John 1:4

AMEN!!! What a blessing. I just love your church Christina, everyone is as neat as a pin, men's hair short, suit & ties (so unlike our church). What a blessing to have the next generation take ownership & share their faith!! My mom was just telling me about her church (the one I grew up in) is now down to 6 senior citizens - it's dying (so sad) & I'm praying things turn around there. The photos are such a blessing! And I love your play on words & the look on your husband's face.
