Welcome to our
Haven at Home!
We are a conservative,
Christian, military,
homeschooling family.
This is our little place
where we share our journey
of tending to our 'sheep'
as we home educate
and raise our children
for our Lord Jesus Christ.
Created from scraps and an old dress. Finished this afternoon for Carolynne...
"She seeketh wool, and flax, and worketh willingly with her hands." ~ Proverbs 31:13

I love the two posts about the dresses you made! I wish I had learned to sew better seeing as I can only really mend rips and put buttons on a coat haha But the Lord gave you such a skill! what a blessing :)
can't wait to read/see more of your blog! ~your sister in the Lord R.A

Thank you, R.A. I, actually, didn't learn to sew until I was an adult and took a short beginner's class at a local sewing shop. The rest has come through lots of practice and lots of trial and error. But it is a blessing to be able to sew for my family. ;o)

You just amaze me with your sewing skills. Such a sweet dress - and even sweeter models. I can just see your girls' closets now - full of pretty dresses all in a row. What a blessing!
