Though, everyday, I walk past
an empty bedroom, once again...
I am so full of thanksgiving
for the week we had
all of our eggs in one basket.
What a joy it was to have our eldest home...
to be together as a complete family...
for a whole week.
Oh, thank you, Abba!
Though we didn't do anything that was
"out-of-the-ordinary special",
it was a delight to just spend our days together...
daily activities, running errands, talking,
eating, playing, singing, laughing... just being...
together.
*happy sigh*
---------------------------------------------------
Snapshots from our week...
Walking out of the grocery store...
together
Trying something new...
together
Taking a walk...
together
Studying Scriptures...
together
Playing...
together
Singing...
together
Teetering...
together
{after family pics together}
Gathering around the table...
together
*smiles*
Abba, thank you
for Your abundant goodness.
Thank You for the relationships
You have blessed us with.
May we never take our family
nor our days with them for granted.
May we love them, Father, as You love us.
May we soak up every moment with them
and may our hearts be full
of thanksgiving and praise to You.
Blessed is Your Name, O YHVH!
"Because Thy lovingkindness is better than life,
my lips shall praise Thee.
Thus will I bless Thee while I live:
I will lift up my hands in Thy Name."
Psalm 63:3-4

Sweet post! I'm so glad you got to spend a week with Ally. Looks like it was a wonderful time, just being... together! {{{hugs}}}
Hi Christina, so nice to hear from you my friend. I'm so happy for you that you could spend a week together...your daughter is certainly growing up to be quite the young lady - such a bittersweet time of change. ((Hugs))
Just got back home -- it was hard to leave a life of leisure, but good to return back to our animals (and my pillow). All is good, and I even have a souviner sunburn. Just finished reading "Restoration", loved it. Have you read "Holy Cow"? Great book too!
Shabbat Shalom. I'm looking forward to a day of rest and Torah study.
Lots of Love,
Jane
Thank you, Tammy. :) It WAS a wonderful time just being together. ;)
Hi Jane! :) So great to hear from you! Yes, it has been a bittersweet time as Ally merges into adulthood. But has been a blessing at the same time. :)
Hope you enjoyed your vacation!
I loved reading Restoration, too! I haven't, yet, read Holy Cow. Sounds interesting, though. I'll have to check it out. :)
Hope your Shabbat was very blessed.
Shalom, friend!
