Recent Sewing Projects: Pink, Blue, & Regency Too

Our "baby" (who is, indeed, not a baby anymore)
was due for another dress.
(It's amazing how fast they grow!)

A long while back,
I shared about T-shirt dresses...
well, this is what you could call
it's antipode...it's exact opposite.

The skirt was from a jumper
that we had which wasn't getting used,
so I made a bodice to go with it...

No zipper, no buttons...
just a pull over dress,
with ties in the back.
I didn't even have to hem the skirt,
it was already done! ;o)

Another project that has been in the mix,
was regency dresses for a friend's sisters...

Same paisley cotton print, different colors.
Puff sleeves, zipper back, and ribbon ties...

It's a thrill to get to the end of projects. :)
There are more in the works
that I look forward to sharing.

Shalom!

"She layeth her hands to the spindle,
and her hands hold the distaff."
Proverbs 31:19

They turned out really well. I've always liked the Regency look. Another favorite when my girls were little was dresses with bishop's necklines.
Well done!

Thank you, everyone, for your kind comments. :)

Michelle ~ I'll have to research 'bishop necklines'. I don't recall hearing that one before.

Jocelyn ~ ;) I'm so glad y'all like them. I look forward to seeing them on the girls. :)
