One of our highlights this past week
was learning about Chanukah (or Hanukkah),
the Feast of Dedication, the Festival of Lights.
We enjoyed being a little festive,
learning more about the history
(through reading, audio, and a video),
some of the tidbits about Jewish tradition
and why they have it, but what we really enjoyed
was reading select Scripture each night
when lighting the menorah.

Though we did not actually play the traditional dreidel game,
we did discuss it and they did have fun spinning their pieces.
