The LORD watch between me and thee,
when we are absent one from another.
(Genesis 39:41)
We said good-bye
to our baby, our eldest,
today,
as she makes her way
to Bible college.
She will be missed
in so many ways
but we look forward to seeing
HIS plan unfold for her.
The LORD bless thee,
and keep thee:
The LORD make his face
shine upon thee,
and be gracious unto thee:
The LORD lift up
his countenance upon thee,
and give thee peace.
Numbers 6:24-26

She looks just like you at that age!
Goodness, I am all weepy now!
Praying for you all. I know that feeling of your baby leaving home. UGH! It is not fun, but it is necessary.
Not being a mother, I do not know how hard it is but I can imagine it is pretty hard.
I still remember when it was like when I went away to college 7 years ago...believe me, she is missing you just as much as you are missing her! :-) Praying for you and rejoicing with you as the Lord leads Ally down this exciting new path in life! Love and prayers, my friend!
Our second just left for Bible college also. He is joining his brother who is going to be a jr. this year. Acutally they are in Southern Ca. also, in Lancaster actually. It is a bittersweet time, we raise them to grow up to be the salt and light in this world, but when they go we are thrilled, blessed and a sad at the same time. Praying for you dd during this time (and her family back at home also).
Oh, Mommy, you almost made me cry! :( So sweet. I miss you so much already. I love all of you so much. Thank you for going the extra mile to make my last few days at home very special ones that I'll remember. Love you lots!!
Mrs.TAYLORMOM2SIX~
I believe your sons go to the same college as I? ;-) Paul Chapel?
Alexandra,
Yes, my son Tim (Taylor) is a jr. and my second son Brett (Taylor) is a freshman. Maybe you will meet them. :-) I'll be praying for you as I pray for my boys and the other young people that I know who attend their.
Have a blessed first week!
Oh this is hard. This is why you raise them. This is when you realize what your parents went through when you left for college or got married. And you remember that it is the next moment in life that you cannot stop.
Not that you would, but maybe in the quietness of life and deep sadness you wish you could for a minute or 2.
GOD is good. And this is when you leave them at the Cross. Because in the end, that is always where they belonged.
You are in my prayers through this time dear woman.
