"Observe the month of Abib,
and keep the passover
unto {YHVH} the LORD thy {Elohim} God:
for in the month of Abib
{YHVH} the LORD thy {Elohim} God
brought thee forth out of Egypt by night."
Deuteronomy 16:1
and keep the passover
unto {YHVH} the LORD thy {Elohim} God:
for in the month of Abib
{YHVH} the LORD thy {Elohim} God
brought thee forth out of Egypt by night."
Deuteronomy 16:1
"And the blood shall be to you for a token
upon the houses where ye are:
and when I see the blood, I will pass over you,
and the plague shall not be upon you to destroy you,
when I smite the land of Egypt.
And this day shall be unto you for a memorial;
and ye shall keep it a feast to {YHVH} the LORD
throughout your generations;
ye shall keep it a feast by an ordinance for ever."
Exodus 12:13-14
"And looking upon {Yeshua} Jesus as he walked,
he saith, Behold the Lamb of {Elohim} God!"
John 1:36
"Saying with a loud voice,
Worthy is the Lamb that was slain
to receive power, and riches, and wisdom,
and strength, and honour, and glory, and blessing.
And every creature which is in heaven,
and on the earth, and under the earth,
and such as are in the sea, and all that are in them,
heard I saying,
Blessing, and honour, and glory, and power,
be unto him that sitteth upon the throne,
and unto the Lamb for ever and ever."
Revelation 5:12-13
"Purge out therefore the old leaven,
that ye may be a new lump, as ye are unleavened.
For even {Messiah} Christ our passover
is sacrificed for us:
Therefore let us keep the feast,
not with old leaven,
neither with the leaven of malice and wickedness;
but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth."
1 Corinthians 5:7-8

I am blessed when I read your blog. Thank you for posting!
Love the post and sharing of Scripture...Hope your Passover was wonderful!
Hello, I came across your site while searching for a song lyrics on the internet [the hymn Let Us Keep The Feast] and your page came up b/c of the 1 Cor reference with same words. I started reading it b/c you're page looked so inviting and I always love readings from fellow Christians with a like understanding of the Old Testament... it's over looked so much these days.
Such a beautifully post, I was just wondering if you would mind if I copied and pasted onto my blog - with reference and credit to you and your blog here?
Thank you and God bless you,
Joanna Ruth.
Thank you, ladies. Hope you had a blessed Passover and that your Feast of Unleavened Bread and Firstfruits are blessed and full with His Shalom!
Joanna Ruth ~ I rejoice that the Father has led you here and that you share a love for His Scriptures. :)
I do not mind, at all, if you repost. After all, they are His Words not mine. ;)
May you be blessed as you seek Him and reflect on all He has done for us this Set-Apart Season!
