This week we are devoting time
to diligently search our home and hearts
for any leaven that is hidden therein.
We do this in preparation to YHVH's feast next week...
Passover and The Feast of Unleavened Bread
"And this day shall be unto you for a memorial;
and ye shall keep it a feast to {YHVH} the LORD
throughout your generations;
ye shall keep it a feast by an ordinance for ever.
Seven days shall ye eat unleavened bread;
even the first day ye shall put away
leaven out of your houses..."
Exodus 12:14-15
and ye shall keep it a feast to {YHVH} the LORD
throughout your generations;
ye shall keep it a feast by an ordinance for ever.
Seven days shall ye eat unleavened bread;
even the first day ye shall put away
leaven out of your houses..."
Exodus 12:14-15
"Therefore let us keep the feast,
not with old leaven, neither with
the leaven of malice and wickedness;
but with the unleavened bread
of sincerity and truth."
1 Corinthians 5:8
What a blessing it has been to use this opportunity
of cleaning the leaven out of our home,
to teach our children the picture
of how sin can hide in the corners of our hearts.
Thank you, Father,
for the many opportunities, the beautiful pictures,
You have given to us to teach our children
(and to learn for ourselves).
"Search me, O {Elohim} God,
and know my heart:
try me, and know my thoughts:
And see if there be any wicked way in me,
and lead me in the way everlasting."
Psalm 139:23-24
"Create in me a clean heart, O {Elohim} God;
and renew a right {resolute} spirit within me."
Psalm 51:10
