Amazing!

Something amazing happened today!
{well, it may not seem amazing to others but it was to us}
Know what it was??

Here's a hint...
It was around 40 degrees today...
Here was the sky...

Any ideas??

How about now??
{If you enlarge the photos, you can see it better}

Did you see it??!
It SNOWED!!!
Here! In SouthEast Coastal NC... it snowed!

We moved here two years ago & have not had snow.
Locals inform us that it had been about 5 years since it snowed.
Before we lived here,
we lived further south in SouthEast Coastal SC,
so snow was VERY scarce there, too.
We haven't seen snow (at our own home) in over 6 years!

We are ABSOLUTELY tickled!!
We dropped everything today to go out-of-doors
to enjoy the snow the Lord sent us!
I LOVE it! LOVE it! LOVE it!

"Praise ye the LORD: for it is good to sing praises unto our God;
for it is pleasant; and praise is comely."
~ Psalm 147:1

"Blessed be the Lord, who daily loadeth us with benefits,
even the God of our salvation. Selah."
~ Psalm 68:19

Bless your heart.

I guess I needed to hear that kind of enthusiasm about snow.

It snowed here today, also, and my reaction was NO NOT YET!!!! lol.

I'm glad you enjoyed it. :)

Nothing like snow to make the day seem brighter. It was really cold here today but no snow :(
Have a great evening.

Oh, how I would love for my kiddos to see some snow. We rarely ever get it here in Central Ms. either.

LOL!! It was not until the third picture, when you could actually see the snow flakes, until I realized where you were going with it. You see how much I know about snow...

We don't see much snow here in Upstate SC either but we eagerly anticipate it every winter. Hopefully we'll get some this season!!

Bless your yeart! Living about 1/2 hour from Buffalo we have been "enjoying" about 3 inches for a few days. My 7 year old is ecstatic, but the rest of us think it's too early to see it yet because once it comes, it usually stays! We get that excited when it's 40 in January! That means no coats!

The flurries missed us on Tuesday, but today (Friday) we got flurries in NC. :) My neighbor kindly told me that I must have brought it with me because they usually don't see weather like this until February. LOL. (we were joking and teasing about whose "fault" it was. They were stationed in Alaska 4 yrs ago and I said she had it saved from up there.) ;)

Blessings
