We seem to all be feeling better today, which is wonderful,
because today we are making Christmas deliveries through
The United Way. We will be delivering meals to elderly couples
and we are very excited about participating in this!
To be able to put ourselves aside, focus on others in need
(whether it is a physical need, financial or spiritual need),
and bring goodwill and kindness to other people...
that, again, is of eternal value and also has earthly rewards as well.
Teaching the children compassion for and service to others
is a characteristic that will last them a lifetime.
Luke 2:14 ~ "Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men."
Ephesians 6:7 ~ "With good will doing service, as to the Lord, and not to men:"
Titus 3:8 ~ "This is a faithful saying, and these things I will that thou affirm constantly, that they which have believed in God might be careful to maintain good works. These things are good and profitable unto men."
